ABout 7:30 Edgar BENNETT and Elma EMERY went to the home of Elder FRANKLIN and were married by him. No invited guests were present. Mr. BENNETT is an attorney here and was the nominee on the Populist ticket this fall for county attorney. He is a graduate from the law department of the State University and has been practicing law about two years. The bride is the daughter of Henry EMERY, who lives north of Washington, and for nearly a year has been clerking in the postoffice book store. At present they are making their home with the Bennett family, recently moving here from near Linn.
