In the presence of about thirty-five relatives and friends at the home of the bride's parents, residing north east of Haddam, occurred the marriage of their second daughter, Leta to Mr. Guy LANDIS, on Wednesday, July 14, at eight o'clock p.m. Rev. Reeves of the Baptist church officiating. The bride was beautifully dressed in white silk while the groom wore the conventional black. After wards the the guests were invited to the dining room to partake of the bountiful supper prepared by the bride's mother. Many beautiful and useful presents were received. The happy couple will go to house keeping at once on the groom's farm southwest of Morrowville.
