Jacobs Married. Last Sabbath Geo. JACOBS of this place and Miss Avis WHITE of Independence, Ks., were married in Independence. Mr. and Mrs. Jacobs will spend a few days in Kansas City, then visit Mr. Jacobs' relatives in Pawnee, Neb., and return here about May 17. They will make their home with Mr.Jacobs' parents for a time. George Jacobs is one of Washington's brightest and best young men, having lived here since he was four years old. He is now assistant in county clerk's office and make an efficient and trustworthy helper. He is of an excellent family, his father is a prominent physician here, and ex-county treasurer, serving in office two terms. His bride resided here for more than a year and is an excellent young lady. While here she made the acquaintance of Mr. Jacobs and that acquaintance was followed by thier courtship and marriage. She left here about one year ago to reside in Independence. Washington people are ready to receive the newly married couple and extend to them good wishes and congratulations.
