                 DIED
    BAYER.--In Owl Creek township, on Jan 26, 1878,
of inflammation of the brain, Annie, youngest
daughter of J. H. Bayer, aged one year five months
and 17 days.
         Let us rejoice to think that tho
            Hast early joined the blest,
        Before thy youthful heart could know
           Aught to disturb its rest!
      Before earth's chilling blasts had given
        A blight to fruit prepared for Heaven!
