Buck Ida Emma Buck, wife of C. A. Buck and daughter of T. A. and C. E. Jones, died at the home of her parents in Toronto Saturday evening, July 18, 1891, at 7:30 o'clock, of consumption, aged 24 years, 9 months and13 days. The symptoms of the disease became apparent more than a year ago, but her condition did not become alarming until a few months before her death. She suffered much, but she bor all with fortitude and resignation, and patiently awaited the end, which came painlessly and peacefully. The deceased was born in Gentryville, Ind., October 5, 1866. In 1875 her parents moved to Kansas and located at Twin Falls, in Greenwood county, from which place they moved to Toronto in 1882. At the age of 15 years the deceased was converted to the Christian religion, and she joined the Methodist Episcopal church, to which denomination she adhered until her death. The deceased was married to C. A. Buck Frbruary 11, 1890. One child blessed the uneioen, but survived only a few weeks. The funeral occurred Monday morning at 10 o'clock. The services were held in the M. E. church and were conducted by the pastor Rev. M. C. Culler. From the church the remains were borne to their last resting place in the Toronto cemetery, and were followed thither by the sorrowing relativeis and many friends. The floral designs were beautiful--the last offerings of friends who loved her and whom she loved. One of the most loving tributes to her memory was the casting of flowers into her grave by little girls who had once been her pupils in the Sunday school. --------------- RESOLUTIONS At a regular meeting of Toronto lodge, No. 253, A.
