TORONTO'S REAL ESTATE AGENT c. E. Stonesipher, Real Estate, Loans and Insurance Notary Public. Agent Aetna and Atlas Building and Loan Association. A Large List of Desirable Farms and Pasture Lands for Homeseekers, Stockment and Investors. To attain success and presige in the real estate business at the present time a man must not only be reliable in every particular, but must be identified with the community as a citizen of unquestioned integrity with personal realty interests. The old saying "confidence begets confidence" has an apt illustration in the real estate agent who, if he has realty investments of his own, not only gives assurance of his reliability but shows his faith in the country as well. The subject of this sketch has been successfully identified with Woodson county for fifteen years, and his large farm adjoining the city limits of Toronto on which he resides is sufficient evidence of is financial standing and faith in this section of the state. Farmers and stock raisers in the east should note the fact that a steer raised on land in Kansas valued at $4 to $10 per acre thrives better and commands a higher price on the market than his eastern brother who roamed a pasture valued at from $30 to $100 per acre. Listed with Mr. Stones- ipher are man of the most desirable realty bargains in Woodson and adjacent counties, including improved and unimproved farms and pastures. In connection with this department of his business he acts as agent for numerous non resident property holders, paying taxes, renting, collecting, etc., giving his personal atten- tion to the work, thus insuring the best results to the owners. In the insurance line he represents such reliable companies as the Phoenix of Brooklyn, N. Y., German, of Freeport, Ill., Fire and Marine of Spring- field, Mass., and the Continental of New York. In his loan business he has control of private funds, and the loans made by his are on liberal terms, and devoid of the extensive red tape process and frequent delays when doing business with a loan company. He is also agent for the Aetna and Atlas Building and Loan Asso- ciations, which are popular with their patrons on account of their prompt and correct business methods. Being a notary public he is in shape to handle his various departments in a thorough and satisfactory manner. C. E. Stonesipher was born, reared and educated in Illinois. He came to Kansas in 1884 and has resided here sinced that time with the exception of three years while attending the Knoxville Academy in the state of his birth. He has been in his present busi- ness since 1896, when he succeeded J. S. Gilson. Prior to that time he was successfully engaged in mercantile pursuits for several years. Mr. Stonesipher is secretary of the Toronto Gass and Minine Co. of which mention is made in another column. He is a democrat in politics an d is township committeeman. His standing as a business man and citizen warrants the fullest confidence of the general public.
