The Yates Center News Fri May 11, 1888 pg 3

           Orange Blossoms
   On the evening of Tuesday, May 8th,
there assembled in the pleasant parlor
of Mr. and Mrs. N. B. Buck a number of
friends to witness the marriage ceremony
of their daughter Laura to Mr. Jacob E.
Taylor, a popular young merchant of this
place. The bride was arrayed in a dainty
robe of white, and looked a fair picture
of youthful beauty. Rev. C. E. Creager
performed the ceremony about 9 o'clock,
after which the newly married couple
were introduced to the company Congratu-
lations were then in order. This being
over all repaired to the dinning room to
partake of refreshments, comprising all
the luxuries of the season. Quite a 
number of valuable presents were received,
consisting of silverware, etc. That the
new life which has dawned so auspiciously
to this young couple may long continue
to be a happy and prosperous one is the
sincere wish of
