                  Married
   At the residence of the bride's parents,
Mr. and Mrs. Fred Frevert of Owl creek, Wednesday
evening, June 23rd, 1897, Rev. Kind of Iola,
officiating, Mr. F. F. Stockebrand and Miss
Rosa Frevert.
   The ceremony was witnessed by about fifty
invited guests, who will long retain pleasant
memories of the happy event. The bountiful
wedding supper and the hearty hospitality 
were characteristic of Fred Frevert and his
estimable wife.
  The bride is a very pretty intelligent girl, a
Woodson county production. The groom is a son
of Wm. Stockebrand and a member of the hardware
firm of McCormick &  Stockebrand. He is one of
the promising young men of the county.
The ADVOCATE joins with a large circle of
friends in congratulations and well wishes.
