         Stockebrand-Frevert
   Married, at the home of the bride's parents,
in Owl Creek Township, on Thursday, Jan. 4, 1894,
E. C. Stockebrand and Mattie Frevert, Rev. L. W.
Stone, of Iola, officiating.
   The briide is the lovely daughter of Mr. and
Mrs. Fred Frevert, a prosperous farmer of Owl 
Creek township, and is well known and highly
esteemed by all who know her. The groom is the 
son of Mr. and Mrs. C. F. Harder and a brother
of August and Henry Stockebrand, and is a young
man of steady habits, industrious and frugal,
and is well liked by his acquaintances. Both
have a host of friends who wish them health, 
wealth snd prosperity in their new life. Mr. 
Stockebrand has a farm a few miles southwest
of town, with a new house and out builings just
completed thereon, where the newly wedded couple
willegin there married life. 
   They were the recipients of a large number 
of beautiful and useful presents.
