Stockebrand, was united in marriage to Mr. Leonard Green of Wheeler, Texas. Rev. Thos F. Barrier performed the ceremony in the presence of the assembled friends and relatives of the bride and groom. Mr. Davidson's spacious home was fittingly decorated for the happy occasion with the season's choicest flowers. The bride, attired in white organdie, looked fair and sweet as the solemn vows were taken. After hearty congratulations were extended the newly wedded couple, the guests repaired to the dining room where all, seated at the fetive, sparkling table, were served to an elaborate three course wedding supper. The out of town guests were Mrs. Green, Miss Ida Green and Mrs. Wick, mother, sister and grandmother of the groom from Redfield, Kansas. Miss Evelyn Gildersleeve is one of Yates Center's charming and accomplished young women. She was educated in our public schools and is also a graduate of the Kansas State Normal. She made a good success in her profession as a teacher and last year was principal of the Redfield schools. Mr. Green has lately located in Texas where he is engaged in a bank and in selling stock. Many presents of silver, cut glass and house furnishings were bestowed upon the bride who is held in such love and esteem by all who know her. A host of friends extend to these young people their hearrtiest congratulations and good wishes for a long and happy prosperous wedded life.
