Crouss, 67, 1416 N. 64th, died Saturday at Bethany Medical Center. She was a lifelong area resident. She was the widow of William R. Crouss, an employe of the Gas Service Co., who died in 1952. Mrs. Crouss was a member of the Victory Hills Nazarene Church. Surviving are two sons, Louis E. Crouss, 1620 N. 64th Ter. and son Crouss. Four daughters; two sisters; 15 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren. Services will be at 1 pm Tuesday at the Fulton-Nickel Funeral Home. Burial will be in Bonner Springs Cemetery. Friends may call after 3 pm Monday at the chapel. Additional information from the 2nd obituary: Among the survivors are her mother, Ms. Nellie Brown 6024 Swope Parkway; two brothers, Herbert Brown, Holyoke, Massachusetts and John W. Brown, 1300 N.E. Gladstone, and four sisters: Mrs. Roy Lyons, 420 NW 81st, Mrs. R.J. Claussen, 1205 N.E. Terrace, Gladstone; Mrs. Audrey Howmann, Seattle, and mrs. Lorenzo Swartz, El Dorado Springs, Missouri. Additional Comments: This obit is a combination of 2 different obituaries found in a family album. There is no newspaper name, just the date. I have eliminated the names of living persons from this obituary.
