The Kansan 11 Jan 1998, Kansas City, Wyandotte Co, Kansas
Services for Louis "Louie" E. Crouss, 91, Tonganoxie, Kansas will be at 10 am 
Monday at the Alden-Harrington Funeral Home, Bonner Spring,Kansas. Burial in 
Bonner Springs Cemetery. Friends may call from 6-8 PM at funeral home.  Mr. 
Crouss died Thurs, Jan 8, 1998 at Providence Medical Center, Kansas City, 
Kansas.. He was born in Kansas City, Kansas. He had lived in Wagoner, Oklahoma 
from 1977 to 1997. Worked for Procter & Gamble until 1926, then bought a Kansas 
City Star route in 1927.  Later he owned gasoline stations, groceries and used 
furniture stores in the KCK area.  He was a member of Jehovah's Witnesses since 
1937.
His wife, Edna Mae Shadrick Crouss, died in 1989 Surviving son of Kansas City,KS
and one daughter of Broken Arrow, OK; one brother of Kansas City,Kansas and 
four sisters; 9 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-
granddaughter
