Gorden of King William County and State of Virginia at her death and do further otherwise my said son Jesse Gorden to Commence Suit or Suits against any Person or Persons who may have the possession of all or any any of the aforesaid Property and to do all things necessary to get the Possession of the aforesaid property in my name as tho I myself were Personally Present at the actings and doings of the aforesaid Jesse Gorden shall forever be binding upon myself my heirs _ witness my hand & seal this seventh day of August 1810. David [his X mark] Gorden {seal} State of Kentucky Adair County I William Caldwell Clerk of the County Court for the county aforesaid being authorised by law to receive the acknowledgement and proof Deeds Letter of Attorney _ and admit the same to record in my Office do Certify that on the day of the date here of David Gorden Sr. whose name is affixed to this Letter of Attorney to Jesse Gorden did in my office in my presents acknowledge the same to be his act and deed and that I have recorded the same together with this Certificate _ required by law Intetimony whereof I have hereunto set my hand _ this of the day of August 1810 Wm.
