Gabriel Slaughter Esq Lieutenant Govenor and acting Govenor of the commonwealth of Kentucky 
To all to whom these presence shall come greeting Know ye that by virtue and in 
consideration of a Certificate No 91 State price paid without Interest granted by the County 
Court of Green in July 1807 agreeably to an act of assembly for settling and improving the 
vacant lands of this commonwealth there is granted by the said commonwealth unto Moses Lee 
assee of Hugh Kelsoe a certain tract or parcel of Land containing two hundred and nine acres 
by survey bearing date the third day of September one thousand eight hundred and six lying 
and being the County of Adair on Crocus (?) Creek and bounded as followeth to wit, Beginning 
on a white oak marked HK near a branch of Crocus thence East one hundred and Six poles to an 
ash, Sugar tree and Dogwood on William Pollys line thence with said line South Eighteen 
Degrees west Fifty six poles to a poplar and hickory corner to said Pollys survey thence 
with Pollys line South Seventy two degrees East Eighty four poles to a beach and black gum 
thence South fifteen degrees East Sixty poles to two white oaks thence South Fifty degrees 
west Twenty two poles to two beeches thence south Eighty west one hundred and ten poles to 
two white oaks thence North ten Degrees West twelve poles to two white oaks thence south 
Eighty Degrees west sixty poles to two beeches thence South twenty degrees west twenty poles 
to a Sugar tree and beech thence South Fifty two degrees west twenty eight poles to two 
beeches thence South thirty degrees west forty poles to poplar and beech thence South Sixty 
degrees west thirty four poles to a beach and sugartree on Edward Pollys line thence with 
said line North twenty degrees west thirty eight poles to two sycamores on the bank of 
Crocus thence north twenty four degrees east two hundred & forty poles to the Beginning.  
With its appurtenances To have and to hold the said  tract or parcel of land with its 
appurtenances, to the said Moses Lee and his heirs forever In witness whereof, the said Gabl 
Slaughter Esq Lieutenant Govenor of the commonwealth hath hereunto set his hand, and caused 
the seal of the said commonwealth to be affixed at Frankfort on the thirty first day of 
March in the year of our lord one thousand eight hundred and twenty and of the commonwealth 
the Twenty eighth.

I do hereby assign over all my Right title and interest of the within Platt herewith 
Returned to Moses Lee his heirs and ____ and the Register of the Land office is hereby 
Requesed to grant his a patent for the Land contained in the Survey herewith annexed and I 
do hereby Relinquish all claim or demand to said Plat as witness my hand and seal this 8th 
day of October 1806 It is to be understood that this agreement is made without Recours to me 
or my heirs ____
