Lela Pitts Gullett LOTT, 84, of Columbia, formerly of Danville, died
Thursday at Westlake Regional Hospital. Born 21-May-1917 in Oklahoma,
she was the daughter of the late Lester and Alta Stephens PITTS. She
was the widow of Russell LOTT and a homemaker. Survivors include a son,
Kenneth GULLETT of Danville; four daughters, Betty Jo COWAN of
Indianapolis, Margie EDWARDS and Norma RICHARD, both of Columbia, and
Connie COPELAND of Cookeville, Tenn.; a brother, Lester PITTS, of
Jennings, La.; a sister, Dorothy HOFSTRA of Greenville, Texas; nine
grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren. Services will be 2 p.m.
Monday at Preston-Pruitt Funeral Home. Burial will be in Danville
Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be 11 a.m. until time of service.
