B. INGRAM. Brief Illness Ends Life of Beloved Older Citizen Of This Community. Funeral this afternoon.Mrs. Annie Elizabeth INGRAM, better known to her many friends as "Ma" INGRAM, died Monday afternoon at the age of 89 at Buena Villa Hotel, Sulphur Well KY, where she had gone the previous Thursday. She became ill shortly after arriving there and grew steadily worse until the end came. Mrs. Ingram was one of Columbia's most beloved older citizens, being popular with old and young alike. She had the rare faculty of enjoying life even at a ripe old age and never allowed the infirmities of advancing years to keep her from having a good time at Saint Petersburg FL,in the winter, and at other places of interest whenever she desired, during the summer months. Mrs. Ingram was born 10-Apr-1848 near Knifley, being a daughter of John and Caroline HUMPHRESS, prominent citizens of that community. Shortly after the Civil War, on 14-Feb-1866, she was married to H. B. INGRAM, a veteran of the Union Army, and they resided near Knifley until moving to Columbia in 1908. Mr. Ingram died 01-June-1923 and since that time Mrs. Ingram has made her home in Columbia with her children. The deceased was a devoted member of the Columbia Christian church and always took an active part in its affairs. She is survived by two daughters, Mrs. C. G. JEFFRIES and Mrs. S. E. SHIVELY and two sons, W. I. INGRAM and H. P. INGRAM. Another daughter, Mrs. J. C. GOSE, died here several years ago. A brother Talbott HUMPHRESS, of Pleasant Plains IL also survives. Funeral services were held at 2 o'clock this afternoon at the Christian church, conducted by Reverend Kirby SMITH, assisted by Reverend H. J. CONOVER, Reverend J. Lapsley ALDERSON and Reverend W. E.
