He was a son of the late Walter and Lela DUNBAR INGRAM. Mr. Ingram is survived by his wife, Christine ALLEN Ingram, Columbia; one daughter, Sue PIERSON (of) TX; three brothers, Dr. Robert INGRAM (of) Campbellsville, Earl and James INGRAM, both of Columbia; one sister, Marie DAY (of) Columbia; two grandchildren and two great-grandchildren also survive. Mr. INGRAM was a member of the Columbia Christian Church where he had served as a deacon and taught the Fisherman's Sunday School class for 30 years, was retired from the U.S. Postal Service, and a former school teacher. Funeral service was held Tuesday, 27-Jan at Grissom Funeral Home with Bro. Metcalfe MILLER, Bro. Raymond MARTIN and Bro. Doug WILCOXSON officiating. Burial in the Columbia Cemetery. Grissom Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements. Pallbearers were John D. LOWE, Joe TAYLOR Jr., J.D. HARPER, K.I. RIDDLE, Bobby and Allen DAY. The family requests that expressions of sympathy be in the form of a donation to the American Society.
