KY Schools Buck Creek Schools Submitted to the archives by: sgorin@glasgow-ky.com Allen Co Schools Continued Buck Creek School was located in southern Allen Co, abt 100 yads off the New Buck Creek Road. It was on a wagon road which joined the Old and New Buck Creek Roads. Trustees were: D S Harris, J B Hinton and M M Lyles. Claudius Harris was the teacher 1928-29 and 1929-30. The school closed in 1934-35 term. Teachers included also: George McReynolds, Joel F Pitchford, Eddie Lyles, Hattie Foster, Roy Hinton, Toy Hinton, Joan Devasher, Hattie Leo McMillan, Ennis Lamb, Aubrey Lamb, Claudius Harris, Mae McReynolds, William McReynolds, Grady Foster and Merle Foster. Trustees were: W W Goodrum, W A Garrison, C G Foster, John Wygal, C R Hinton, E U Harris, Miliem LaFon, S T Hinton, M J Graves, Robert LaFon, J Saylors, E H HInton and R C Hinton.
