R D HOOTEN and M W NAPIER were hired to build the building. Andrew WILLOUGHBY donated the land. This school burned in 1952. Teachers there included: Omaleah GRAVES, N S SHAW, Mamie SPECK, Myrtie OSBORNEERWIN, Mautie WILLOUGHBY REYNOLDS, Clara WILLOUGHBY, Clara Helen REYNOLDS JONES, Leiron Neal ALLEN, Viola WAGNER, Pauline RICHEY, Catherine SIMMONS and Ella STONE GATEWOOD. Mautie above was the first teacher and her daughter Clara Helen was the last.
