MAYSVILLE SCHOOL

   Maysville School is about 7miles out on the Maysville Road near Slate Rock
Hill. No starting date is shown but was in existence before 1907. Early
teachers included: Mrs. W A WHITLOW, Tobe WHITLOW, Harry FOSTER, Oscar GUY,
Nannie DIXON, Sally DIXON, Maggie DIXON, Pernie BUCHANON, W A WHITLOW, Eura
PARDUE, Eunice BEWLEY, Lois WHITLOW, George TINSLEY, Calma OLIVER HACKER,
Jeanette WHITLOW, Nina MURPHY and Anna GRAHAM.
