James Shouse, a descendant of Roadham Petty, had the stones moved to the Petty Grave Yard, farther up the river. Roadham Petty B. 1752 in Va., D. Jan. 12, 1843 Rev. War Soldier Samuel B. Petty b. Aug. 1, 1788 d. Oct. 30, 1851 Tabitha Buntain Petty b. Oct. 28, 1796 d. Dec. 5, 1839 Mary Shouse Petty b. Dec 13, 1817 d. May 19, 1864 (Samuel B. Petty was a son of Roadham Petty. Tabitha and Mary were wives of Samuel B. Petty) James Petty West Melear A child, Tom Petty, son of Jerusha & Will Petty (They later named another child Tom, who lived to be grown.)
