THE PETTY FAMILY BURYING GROUND
ANDERSON CO., KENTUCKY
Petty place across Salt River from Anderson
City. This land is now own by William Townsend. 
James Shouse, a descendant of Roadham Petty, had the stones
moved to the Petty Grave Yard, farther up the
river.

Samuel B. Petty b. Aug. 1, 1788 d. Oct. 30, 1851

Tabitha Buntain Petty b. Oct. 28, 1796 d. Dec. 5, 1839

Mary Shouse Petty b. Dec 13, 1817 d. May 19, 1864

(Samuel B. Petty was a son of Roadham Petty. Tabitha and Mary were wives
of Samuel B. Petty)

James Petty

West Melear

A child, Tom Petty, son of Jerusha & Will Petty

(They later named another child Tom, who lived to be grown.)

(2 children of John and Sarah Mosley were buried there, but later moved.)

Some of the above have no stones, but were given  by Mrs. James Shouse.
