Unknown Cemetery, Ballard County, Kentucky Location: >From Exit 3 on I-24, turn west onto KY-305 (also known as Old Cairo Road) and travel approximately 4 miles to the "Y" junction of KY-305 with KY-358 (also known as Ogden Landing Road). Bearing right at the "Y", travel approximately 8 miles to the 3-Way stop intersection of KY-358 and KY-996 (also known as Metropolis Lake Road). Turn right at the intersection and travel 0.2 miles to the junction of KY-358 and KY-996 and turn left onto KY-358. Travel approximately 12 miles to the junction of KY-358 and KY-1782 and turn right. Travel approximately 0.9 miles to the intersection of KY-1782 and County Road named Ogden-Landing Road and turn left. Travel approximately 0.2 miles and the cemetery is located in a small grove of trees on the left hand side of road. There is no parking available and the area is on private property. Cemetery is located on the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet Official Map of Ballard County. History: Cemetery has no known name, but appears to have been a very small family cemetery surrounded by a rod iron fence that is still standing. Other gravesites may possibly be in this cemetery due to sunk in places where no headstones are present. CALDWELL, J.
