Copied by the late Gladys B. Wilson 22 Oct 1974. This Bible is in the very large
family type, with front and back identically deeply impressed wit a design, and
has two metal clasps fastening it. It is now (1974) in the possession of Mrs.
Miriam Richardson (McQuown) Pedigo (Mrs. D. A.) of Glasgow, a niece of Ella
Andrew (Ball) Locke. The first page is the presentation page, and is beautifully
colored around the border with designs and flowers:

Marriage Certificate (Page):
This certifies that W. N. Locke and Ella A. Ball were United in Holy Matrimony
at Cave City, [Kentucky], on the 1st day of Sept. 1881, in the presence of W. E.
Garnett, Frank Gassaway. Signed George B. [Mrs. Pedigo states that she thinks
George B. was Barnett or Burnett, who was a minister.]

Mattie Belle Locke was Born Dec. 7, 1886, Died. Jany. 12,
'87 at Glasgow, Kentucky.
Theo. [Theodore] Locke was Born at Glasgow, Ky. Mch. 8th,
1890.
Eugene Edard Locke was Born March 26th 1893.
Railey A. Locke was born at Glasgow, Ky. Jany. 4th, 1896.
Harry Goren Locke was born at Glasgow, Ky., Oct. 21 Year
1899.
William McCoy Locke was born at Glasgow Jan. 6th year 1902.

Deaths:
Mattie Belle Locke died Jany. 12, 1887.
Eugene Edward Locke Died March 7th, 1894.

William Newton Locke was Born January 25th, 1858 at
Prewitt Knob, Barren County, Kentucky.
Andrew Ella Ball was Born June 4th 1860 [erased and re-
