BiRD present. Settlement of accounts of Sylester HALL, Administrator of
estate of James DOWNING returned. John CURTIS appt Commissioner of the
Revenue Tax in Capt Jas MEAN's militia company in place of (blank). John
GARNETT appt Surveyor of the Lower Saltworks Road from the ford of Beaver
Creek near his house to the Cross Roads near the Horse Well; Wm T BUSH, M W
HALL to allow hands. Inventory and appraisement of estate of James BYBEE
returned. Joseph C KEAN granted license to sell spirituous liquors in his
house in the county; bond with John PERKINS and Tobias VANCE.

Settlement of accounts of Sarah SMITH, guardian to Polly SMITH, dau of
Isaac SMITH returned. Inventory & appraisementof estate of John MARSHALL
returned. Sale of Marshall's estate returned. Inventory of estate of John
BROOKS returned. Same of Frances PEDEN. William EDMUNDS appt Commissioner
of Tax in Capt Thos WINN's Company. James FRAZER appt same in Capt H.
DAVIS's Co. John KING same in Capt Jno ALLEN's Co. Last will and testament
of James B GADBERRY proved by oaths of Polly GLAZEBROOK & Sally TRIBBLE.
List of sales of estate of Solomon GREER returned. 

Jordin GLAZEBROOK & Stephen BEAUCHAMP, executors named in the last will &
testament of James B GADBERRY, being in court, refused to take upon them
the burden of the exeuction thereof, on motion of Thomas WINN, certifiate
is granted him for obtaining letters of Administration of the the GADBERRY
estate with will annexed - took oaths and went bond. Thomas BEAUCHAMP,
Benjamin PEDEN, Samuel REED & John O MORRISON (any 3) to apraise the estate
& slaves if any. Ezra WILSON named surveyor of the Burkesville road from
the bushey fork of Fallen Timber to the top of the hill east of Joshua
WILSON in room of Wm GLOVER. Fleming SHORT appt same of the road from
CENSHAW's lower mill to Glasgow.Mansfield CARTER same  of the road from
Samuel ISAAC'sto the forks near John DAVIDSON's inroom of Nathan TARPIN
[TURPIN].  Road alteration of the portion going through Wm RENICK's land
report returned and alteration abolished.

William NEWELL apptd surveyor of road from CRENSHAW's Mill to its junction
with HIGGINS Mill road; James BIRD & Alexr ADAIR to keep in repair. John
ALLEN, Wm MURPHY, Joel FRANKLIN & Benjamin BUSTER (any 3) to appraise
estate & slavesif anyof James CLEMENT, decd.
