Same for William T BUSH for 9.62 as a fine from THORNTON [no first name shown] for rioting in sundry cases. Same for John GORIN to pay the Sheriff for Joel CROSS $6.12 for rioting and $61.50 to be used for procuring a standard of weights & measures. William LOGAN entered into bond as Clerk of the Court with John GORIN, John McFERRAN & Robertson P BEAUCHAMP his securities. Road report from the south end of Race Street in Glasgow, running south - road abolished. Len'rd MAURY to pay $5 the amount of fines in his hands and with the money a book be procured for the purpose of recording fines. Thomas WINN made motion that the surveyor re-survey an entry in his name as assignee of John KIRTLEY. Thomas B MONROE made motion that John MONROE, Peter C GOODALL, R P BEAUCHAMP & Saml ROWNTREE (any 3) view for an alteration of a road from where it leaves the south end of Green Street. List of delinquent tax payers sent to the State Auditor by Henry MILLER. Ordered that William T BUSH be appt Commissioner to examine the situation in the Clerk's office and make report. These normally were the results of fights breaking out at election time.
