Semi-Annual Muster Roll I.R. = Inspection return Additional Comments: Henry Foster moved to Barren Co., KY after his military service to be with his parents and siblings who had gone on ahead from Nottoway Co., VA. He married Susannah Vaughn in Barren Co., 25 Dec 1820. It is believed, but has not been conclusively proven at this time, that he is the same Henry Foster who was living in Giles Co., Tennessee in 1830 and 1840. 21 April 1821. For his services as private in Capt. David Riddle's Co., 8th Inf. Reg., Henry Foster was awarded land warrant #24067 for 160 acres of land in what is now Arkansas Co., Arkansas. The land description is Twp 5-S, Range 5-W, NW 1/4, Section 11. This land is south of present day Stuttgart, Arkansas. There is no evidence that he ever lived there.
