Buried by undertaker GARRISON the following Monday. Metcalfe Co: Announcing the marriage of Anthony FRASER of this place to Miss Mollie BRYANT of Willow Shade last Wednesday. Married at the bride's fathers. (special from the Edmonton News). Frank T ROYSE died at his home Sunday night near Sulphur Well; had been drinking Monday & Tuesday and Tuesday evening, Dick DAVIS who lives near Knob Lick, heard a noise. In going that direction he found ROYSE unconscious. Took him to his house and called for help. Wed morning ROYSE was removed to his own home; doctors said he had taken morphine and was still unconscious until death claimed him. He apparently wasn't attempting suicide but took morphine as a habit. Man of high standing and of a good family; left a wife and six children. Mrs. America GARMAN, w/o James, died on April 19th at 83 years. Lived a true Christian; left six children, five girls and one boy and a number of grandchildren and treat grandchildren. Funeral preached by Rev. John LOYD, buried at the Harvey DAVIS cemetery next to her husband. J[ames] E[dward] GORIN of Louisville - dropped dead on the platform at DECKER's Station in Woodford Co last Saturday. Born and reared in Glasgow. Extremely long tribute; was married to Mary ROGERS, the eldest d/o of Mrs. Olivia ROGERS of Barren Co. Survived by five children. Was a tobacco warehouseman. Was visiting his daughter, Mrs. John W DAVIS with his wife. Was at the station with his son-in-law departing for Lexington; DAVIS boarded the train and saw James fall on the platform - heart disease. Remains brought to Louisville; service by Rev Charles O. JONES. Methodist. Survived by Mrs. John DAVIS of Woodford Co, Miss Ellen GORIN, Miss Olive GORIN, Henry GORIN and Louis GORIN. Pallbearers were F H WULKOP, R M LEWIS, Capt NORRIS, Charles BRIDGES, W H MURPHY, E T GIRARD, Q T VAUGHN and W N LITTLE. Honorary pallbearers were James CLARK, J S PHELPS, Otho GRAVES, Henry GLOVER, Abner HARRIS, Edward WHITE, L M RICE, Presley MEGUIAR, J P VAUGHN, J J BETHEL, H Q GINTER and Charles GARTH. [he was the s/o of Thomas Jefferson and Mary ROGERS Gorin formerly of Glasgow who had moved to Louisville).
