Oldest son of: Ernest D and Susie Payne Adwell Known as Cline, grew up in Barren County, received its education from Freedom School system. Helped on the family farm from age 8 until he moved to Shenanandoah in March 1939. Marriread: 17 Aug 1939 former Edith Williams. They had 5 children. He began working for Mount Arbor Nursuries 1939; inducted into the Army in 1943, served until 24 Oct 1945. Returned to his position where he worked for 58 years. For 38 of those years he was a supervisor at a storage building which was named after him - the Cline Adwell Storage Building No. 1. Survivors: Wife: Edith Daughters: SueCilla Adwell of St. Joseph MO and Carol Ann Adwell of Shenandoah, IA Son: Ernest Jr of Kansas City MO. Sister: Yema Harlow, Glasgow Nephews: Mike, Mark and Johnny Harlow Niece: Cheryl Copass.
