Army. Served in Vietnam and Desert Storm as well as two tours of duty in 
Germany. 
General manger of Cave City Quality Inn at the time of his death.

Wife: Sandra Alston
Two sons: Rocky Alston and wife Lesa of Sellersburg IN and Scott Alston of 
Louisville KY
Daughter: Rebecca Emerson and husband Joe of Glasgow KY Three grandchildren: 
Kristyn and Kaetlyn Alston and Cheyenne Emerson
Brother: Cecil Alston and wife Marion of Ahoskie NC Two nephews: Gordon and 
Alan Alston
Services: Sunday, 26 June 2005, 2 pm, Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home with a 
memorial service later in Elizabethtown. No burial location shown.
