"THE DEATH OF MISS PEARLE BARBOUR LAST WEDNESDAY. Miss (Hattie) Pearl Barbour, 
daughter of Mr. and Mrs. W. L. Barbour died at her home here last Wednesday 
noon. Death was caused by spinal meningitis after an illness of only a few 
days.

"Miss Barbour was in her twenty-second year, and a very lovely and estimable 
young lady. She was universally popular with everybody and was the possessor 
of a disposition that endeared her to everyone.

"She was an ardent Christian, a devoted believer, and has been a member of the 
Methodist church several years."
