 Glasgow Republican, Thursday, June 23, 1921
J O Boggie was killed last Friday near his home in Hiseville section by being
kicked by a horse. He was foreman on section of Jackson Highway and with his
step son J H Love had started to work, when the horses started to run and kick.
Was State Engineer from Garrard Co. Two years ago he married Mrs. Jim Goff whose
husband had been killed by a run away in a smiliar manner. He is said to have
left a divorced wife and several children in Garrard Co. His sister and her son
attended the funeral. Interred in the Hiseville Cemetery.
