Burt BORDERS - 25 Oct 1854 - 21 Feb 1926

"On February 21, 1926, Sunday night about 9 o'clock the death angel visited the 
home of Mrs. Burt Borders and claimed for its victim their loving father and 
kind husband, who was a light to his home. We will miss his sweet smiles and 
tender voice. So sad to think he can never be with us in our homes again, but 
if we be faithful we can meet him in a glad world where parting will be no 
more.

"He was married to Miss Adiline Fisher, and to this union were born 7 children, 
only 4 still living: Messrs. Charlie, Clemmie and Edward Borders and Mrs. Will 
Bybee of Illinois, and a host of friends to mourn his loss. Mr. Borders was 76 
years of age. He was a member of the Christian church and was one of the best 
men of his section. Funeral services were at his home, burial in the family 
burying ground. He was dearly loved and respected by a host of acquaintances 
and friends. We extend to his loved ones our deepest sympathy and direct them 
to Him who doeth all things well.
