Glasgow Republican 3 Feb 1921 issue.
Name: Evans Bowman
Died: 28 January 1921, age 25
Cause: Shot by officers in a pistol duel in the City Court Room by Harry
Collins. Had been arrested in Monroe Co with Colston Bowman for selling
moonshine whiskey and released on bond. Was 25 years old, leaves widow 14 years
old whom he married 6 months ago.
Parents: Ike Bowman - killed by Constable Smith at Sulphur Lick six months ago.
Had served in the army.
