Retired farmer, member Servant Valley United Baptist Church.
Survivors:
Wife: Betty Huff Byrd
Sons: Donnie of Cave City; Carlos of TN; Tony, Clifton and Gary Byrd, all of 
Glasgow.
Daughter: Donna Jean Bowles, Glasgow
Brothers: Marshall Byrd of Hiseville, KY; Harrel Byrd of Knob Lick, KY and 
Tommy Byrd of Glasgow.
Sisters: Alveta Jessie, Mary Ballard, Emma Ballard, Jennie Byrd and Betty 
Stephens, all of Glasgow and Lavern Wilson of Columbus, IN
Grandchildren: Chris, Adam and Jason Byrd, Shannon and Jennifer Bowles
Four great-grandchildren.
Preceded also in death:
Sisters; Ruby Garmon and Susie Ennis
Brother: James Johns
Services: 2 pm Saturday, 28 Sept 2002, Bob Hunt Funeral Chapel in Cave City, 
burial Cave City Cemetery.
