"Sister: Mrs. Nannie Allen, 45 years of age, died at her home, the old Crenshaw home near Coral Hill, very suddenly Monday of pneumonia. "She was a native of the section in which she died, and in which she spent her entire life. "Before her marriage she was Miss Nannie Crenshaw, daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Richard Crenshaw. "She is survived by her husband and six children, ranging in age from 19 down to 2 years as follows: Richard, Mary Frances, Cecil, Ruby, James, Howard and Margaret. Her surviving brothers and sister are Henry Thompson Crenshaw and Richard Crenshaw of Coral Hill, Ben M. Crenshaw of Hiseville, Jas G. Crenshaw near Temple Hill, A. C. Crenshaw of Smithville, Texas, Harry Crenshaw of Bruce, Miss Mit Crenshaw of Coral Hill. Brother: Friends and relatives have not recovered from the shock of Mrs. Roger Allen's death before they were informed of the death of Mr. Ben Crenshaw, which occurred Tuesday night, at his home between Hiseville and Bearwallow, pneumonia causing his death. "He was never informed that his sister was dead. "He leaves his wife, who was Miss Emma Palmore, sister of Prof. R. A. Palmore and Mrs. Oren Depp of this place., Dr. E. E. Palmore of Horse Cave and others well known. He also leaves two children, Mary 9 years of age, and William, 7. The brothers and sister of Mrs. Allen apply to Mr. Crenshaw. "He too was a consecrated member of the Christian church, and was among the best citizens of this community. "The remains of Mr. Crenshaw were brought to the Allen home, and the two coffins laid side by side, while Elder T. H. Alderson of this place pronounced the funeral services, after which the burial took place at the same time in the Crenshaw burying ground near Coral Hill."
