Glasgow (KY) Republican, 24 Sept 1931.
Catherine (Mrs. John) Carver, died August 30, [1931], age 85 on the 28th [sic]. 
Survivors: Husband, age 85, and a soldier of the Civil War; three children, one 
sister and two brothers. Formerly Miss Catherine Carver. Children: Mrs. Noah 
Britt of Lucas; Mrs. W. D. Gillon of near Railton; Willie Carver at home place 
near Tracy. Sisters: Mrs. Thomas McCue of Five Forks and brother: J F Carver of 
Glasgow. Interred in family burying ground near the house beside her daughter who 
died a number of years ago. Member of Mt. Olivet Missionary Baptist Church."
