Son of: Clenon and Almeter Chumney, decd
Moved to Ypsilanti area and married Sandra Henes on 30 April 1994 who survives.
Employed at GM Powertrain for 24 years as a jobsetter. Attending Lovings Springs
Church in Glasgow before moving to Michigan.
Also survived by:
Children: Robert A Jones, Michael Chumneyand LaDidda Johson, all of Ypsilanti;
Robert Henes of Ann Arbor, Michigan; Brian and Daniel Henes of Iron Mountain,
Michigan and his siblings, Willie, Bobby and Harold Chumney, all of Ypsilanti;
Jerri and Guy Chumney of Fort Wayne, IN; Vera Martiniz of Georgia; Sue Chumney,
Deborah Banyon and Katie Leachmand all of Indianapolis, IN; Daisy Murrell of
Bowling Green, KY and Pam Boards of Chicago, IL.
Numerous grandchildren, nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
Preceded also in death by daughter: LaTryce Johnson.
Memorial services Thursday, 12 April 2001, New Testament Baptist Church in
Michigan, 2 pm Monday, 16 April Loving Springs Baptist Church, burial in
Lebanon, TN. Watts Funeral Home locally in charge of arrangements.
