Glasgow (KY) Republican, Thursday, 17 Jan 1957, p. 7.
Funeral services were conducted Tuesday morning at Marrowbone Church of Christ 
for Mr. Charlie Taylor Cloyd, 60, who succumed at Samson Community Hospital 
last Friday afternoon, after an illness of fourteen days. He was a carpenter by 
trade, and resided at Marrowbone.

"Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Kenneth Goode, Glasgow; Mrs. Terry Coe, 
Victoria, Texas; 5 sons, Ray, Paul and Earl, Cloyd Indianapolis; Ralph Cloyd, 
Ciloam Springs, Ark.; Roy Cloyd, Long Beach Calif.; a sister, Mrs. Trance 
Dubree, Marrowbone; a brother, Fred Cloyd, Portland, Oregon; and his parents, 
Mr. and Mrs. Lee and Valeria Rich Cloyd, Marrowbone.

"Interment was in Marrowbone cemetery under direction of Crow Funeral Home."
