Son of: James L. Craney Sr and the late Florence B. Craney of Glasgow.
Born: Canton, OH
Worked for TRW more than 30 yrs, representing the company in business ventures
in Thailand, Malaysia, Lorea, South Africa, Europe, Japan, Canada, Mexico and
Australia. Retired in 1997 as vice president of financial control for TRW
Steering, Suspension and Engine Group. Joined there 1967 holding numerous
executive positions including controller of TRW's Ross Gear Division in
Layafette, IN. Member of the American Management Association and the Financial
Executives Institute. Received a business administration degree in Industrial
Management in 1962 from Fenn College, now Cleveland State University. Active in
various committees for the Independence Presbyterian Church; member of the Elks
Club and American Legion.

Wife: Susan Green Craney
Daughter: Jill Faulkner and husband William of Somers, NY
Son: Chadwick L.
Grandchild: Caitlin Ann Faulkner
Sister: Sandra Leiphart, Chicago, IL
Preceded in death by son: Jeffrey L
Services: Thurs, 30 Dec 1999, 11 am, church in Independence, OH, A Nosek and
Sons, Gerber-McCreery Funeral Home in charge. No burial location given.
