Undated Glasgow KY newspaper
"Miss Nell B. Davis, former teacher in the county schools, died at the Community
Hospital here Monday around 4 o'clock. She was found unconscious at her home
Saturday morning and failed to rally to treatment. Death was due to a cerebral
hemorrhage.

"A daughter of the late Milton and Allie Baird Davis, she was born and reared in
the Goodnight section where she has spent practically all her life. She was
around fifty-six years of age.

"Surviving are three brothers, Messrs. Gershon Davis and Muriel Davis, at home;
Clevinger Davis, of Illinois; a sister, Mrs Catherine Davis, of Park City. Miss
Davis was a cousin of Mr. Wood Davis and Miss Susie Davis, this city.

"Funeral services were held at the Davis home Wednesday at 11 am. Interment as
in the family cemetery on the home place."
