Died: Friday, 29 Nov 2002, residence, age 93.
Born: Barren Co KY 2 Dec 1908
Son of the late Christopher Y and Addie Dougherty Depp
Married: 19 June 1938 to Amy Christine Browning who died 15 Jan 1993 after 55 
years of marriage.
Retired farmer, school administrator and member Refuge Church of Christ where 
he served as a teacher and elder for many years. He began his service in 
education as a teacher in the Barren County rural schools in 1929. Became 
superintendent of the Barren County Schools in 1936 at the age of 27. Later 
served as Superintendent of the Glasgow City Schools, principal of Bowling 
Green High School, principal of Summer Shade Elementary and accepted the 
position as Barren County Superintendent for two years before retiring in 1969.
Survivors:
Children: David and wife Deborah of Glasgow; Doug and wife Diane of the Kino 
community and Martha Ellen Jones and husband Mike of Bowling Green, KY
Brother: Tom Depp, Glasgow
Ten grandchildren, five great-grandchildren
Preceded in death also by grandson: James P "Kip" Depp.

Services: 3:30 pm Sunday, 1 Dec 2002, A F Crow and Son Funeral Home, burial 
Glasgow Municipal Cemetery.
