"MRS. ESTES DEAD. Mrs. S. M. Estes died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. G. H.
Franklin, June the 2nd, of chronic rheumatism, in her eighty-fifth year.

"Mrs. Estes was greatly loved in her community and was held in the highest
regard by all who knew her. She was a faithful member of the Cumberland
Presbyterian Church.

"Three children survive her: Mrs. G. H. Franklin, of Lick Branch; Mrs. S. D.
Peden, of Glasgow, and Mr. E. H. Estes of Idaho. One brother also survives her -
Mr. E. A. Peden of Glasgow.

"Rev. Kerigan conducted the funeral services after which the interment occured
in the cemetery at Lick Branch."
