Ebert, 71, well known Barren County farmer, were held Friday, 2:30 pm at his home on the Burkesville road, three miles east of Glasgow, with the Rev. T. H. Alderson, of Walton, Ky., in charge. Burial was in the Glasgow Cemetery. "Mr. Ebert's death occurred Thursday of last week following an illness of seven years. He was a native of Metcalfe County and was born Nov. 5, 1869, having moved to Barren County when a young man. For the past 35 years he has resided on a farm bordering Boyds Creek on the Burkesville road. "Mr. Ebert was widely known thruout the county. He was a successful farmer and was held in high esteem by a host of acquaintances. He was a member of the Baptist Church. "Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Willie Huggins Ebert, four children, Mrs. D. W. Whitaker, of Lakewood, N. J.; Mrs. Chas Benson, New Albany, Ind.; Mr. Elbridge P Ebert, Glasgow, rfd; and Mrs. Arnold Good, of Louisville; one brother, Mr. Welby Ebert, Florida.
