Son of the late F Courtney Edwards and Berta Mae Sharp Edwards
Retired from J C Penney Co after 42 years of managing stores in many locations. 
Veteran of WWII, received the Purple Heart.
Survivors:
Wife: Nina Ruth Britt Edwards
Three daughters: Sue Shaffer of Richmond IN, Susan Joy Smellie and husband Larry of

Naples and Linda Polson and husband David of Perrysburg OH
Sister: Ruthene Nuckols of Glasgow
Brother-in-law: Addis Britt of Glasgow
Six grandchildren, five great-grandchildren
Services: 3 pm Tuesday, 11 Oct 2005, First United Methodist Church under direction 
of A F Crow and Son Funeral Home, burial Glasgow Municipal Cemetery.
