Son of: Clarence A and Archie Ellen Jackson Emberton Thomerson, decd.
Moved to IL age 16 and to Lebanon 1955. A US Army vetran, mechanic for H. O.
Walker Standard Service in Lebanon for 20 years. Spent 24 yrs self-employed as a
truck driver before retiring in 1992. Enjoyed car racing, gardening,
motorcycles, fishing and auto mechanics and was devoted to his family and
grandchildren. Member Colfax Wesleyan Church.
Survivors:
Wife: Geneva Ward Emberton
Daughter: Charlotte Schrimsher and husband David of Lafayette, IN
Son: Donnie Emberton of Crawfordsville, IN
Half-brothers: Glenn and Phillip Thomerson, both of Dayton, OH
Sister: Juanita Green of Glasgow
Grandchildren: Kristin and Ryan Shelley, Wilbur, Douglas and Joseph Emberton
Step-grandchilden: Deanna McRay and Danielle Schrimsher
Great-grandson: William Emberton
Preceded in death by half-brother, Danny Thomerson.
Services: Myers Chapel, 1502 N Lebanon St, Lebanon, IN, 2 pm, Friday, 24 Dec
1999, burial Maple Lawn Cemetery in Thorntown, IN.
