Glasgow (KY) Weekly TImes, 25 Dec 1895.
"Mrs. E. Farris died at the home of Mr. John White, near this place at an early 
hour Thursday morning. She was an estimable woman and had many warm friends, 
and her death will bring sadness to all who knew her."
