He was a clever man and a substantial citizen and was held in the highest esteem by all." "The deceased was a member of the Baptist Church. The interment was in the family burying ground near the home. He is survived by his wife and five children: Mr. Otis Ford, Mrs. J. B. Denham, both of the Eighty Eight country; Mrs. Zion Simmons, of Temple Hill, Mrs. Clem Denham, of ___ Ill., and Mrs. Jack Evans, of California, but now at the old home. He also leaves two brothers and one sister, Mr. J. T. Ford, of Summer Shade, Mr. Billy Ford, of Horse Cave, and Mrs. Henry Baldock of Eighty Eight." Unable of locate.
