Widower of: Maida Watson Gibson
Member Cave City Baptist Church.
Known as "Pappy Mack", farmer, blacksmith, well known maker of musical
instruments, fiddles, guitars, banjos and dulcimers. He and his wife were
owner/operators of Mack and Maida's Restaurant, the Greyhound Bus Station, and
the Dixie Jamboree Country Music Show in Cave City.
Survivors:
Grandson: Tim Gibson and wife Linda
Granddaughter: CindyRitchie and hsuband Bernie
Greatgrandchildren: Scott, Ryan and Kellie Gibson and Hailee Ritchie
Daughters-in-law: Jean Gibson and Ophie Gibson - all above of Cave City
Several nieces and nephews
Special friend: Carol Oliver of Morgantown, KY
Preceded in death by sons: Charles Owen and Garland "Poncho" Gibson.
Services: Monday, 11 Dec 2000, Bob Hunt Funeral Home, Cave City, burial Cave
City Cemetery.
