Died: Tuesday, 29 July 2003, University of Louisville Hospital, age 78.
Son of the late Ethel Elizabeth Cutliff and Arthur Earl Hanson
Retired farmer, member of Hiseville Baptist Church, U S Army veteran of the 
Koren Conflict. Before moving to the Hiseville area, an active farm on land 
which is now a part of Mammoth Cave National Park.
Survivors:
Wife: Peggy Hanson
Son: Steve and wife Marsha of Glasgow
Daughter: Debbie Smith and husband Jerry of Louisville KY
Grandchildren: Stephanie Hanson, Hollie Hanson, Erin Simpson, Chris Lile and 
wife Bridgette, and Brian Smith
Great-grandchildren: Hannah Lile and Andrew Lile
Sisters: Angie Gibbons of Shepherdsville KY, Doretha Bensenhaver and husband 
Charles of Louisville, Alberta Lafferty of Glasgow
Sister-in-law: Ruth Martin Gray and husband Kenneth of Glasgow
Several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Preceded also in death by:
Seven brothers and sisters including Charles Lewis Hanson, Olin Hanson and 
Frances Hanson 
Sister-in-law: Runell Broady and husband, Bronston
Services: 11 am Friday, 1 Aug 2003, Hatcher and Saddler Funeral Home, burial 
Locust Grove Cemetery at Mammoth Cave.
