Died: Monday, 26 February 2001, Barren Co Health Care Center, age 82.
Born: Allen Co KY
Son of: Ralston and Lena W Jackson, decd.
Graduate of Ft. Knox High School and a veteran of WW II with the US Army. He had
previously served with the Kentucky Highway Patrol and later worked with Western
Kentucky Gas. Served as district superintendent, manger of the Glasgow District,
later as manager of the Owensboro District. Active in community affairs; past
president of the HOrse Cave Lions Club, past director of the Glasgow Rotary Club
and member of the Glasgow-Barren County Chamber of Commerce.
Survivors:
Wife: Martha Gipson Jackson
Son: Charles Jackson and wife Eloise, Glasgow
Brothers: Junior and WIlliam Jackson, both of Scottsville, KY
Services: 2 pm Thursday, 1 March 2001, Hatcher and Saddler Funeral Home,
military honors, burial Glasgow Municipal Cemetery.
